Global Addiction – 2018
Welcome to the Global Addiction Conference, the annual meeting for the Global Addiction Association. Addiction represents one of the areas of medicine that is least understood, yet generates an enormous burden on society, the medical profession, carers and individual sufferers.
The last Global Addiction conference was extremely successful, held in Venice, 2-4 October 2016, and GLAD would like to thank all sponsors, speakers and delegates for your contributions. To download the programme and abstract book please access the programme page, or relevant page of the Old Conferences section of the website. All sessions are audio recorded and are available to view in the GLAD library for members and conference attendees. The 2016 conference sessions are being uploaded now.

The Global Addiction Association is a knowledge-sharing facility for all those involved in the understanding and treatment of addiction. It offers the opportunity for all interested parties to link both on-line and at the conference.
The language of the conference is English.
Global Addiction is a not-for-profit organisation. Any excess conference funds generated are donated to medical charities and are used to support travel and accommodation bursaries for under-privileged individuals to attend the conference.
